After struggling through the first half, West Ornage used three turnovers to pull away against Ocoee en route to a 28-0 victory over the Knights. With the win, West Orange retains "The Shield" after winning it last year.
Quarterback Tyler Huff threw two touchdowns, one to Assad Waseem and one to J.D. Gibson.
On defense, Jordyn Caste II recovered a fumble and took it 94 yards for the touchdown. To round out the multi-faceted attack, Javan Robinson fielded a punt and ran it 85 yards to give the special teams a touchdown as well.
Prior to the Caste fumble, Ocoee was knocking on the end zone for a score but three turnovers cost them 21 points.
