Runners, spectators and local businesses celebrated the return of the annual Windermere Run Among the Lakes 5K and 10K, Saturday, Oct. 16.
The race celebrated its 20th anniversary as a total of 900 runners registered for the morning's events. Races began just after 7:15 a.m. at Town Hall, 520 Main St., and winded through the scenic landscapes and lakefront views the Town of Windermere is known for.
After the races, runners and attendees visited the exhibit area behind Town Hall where event sponsors offered water, food, and the chance to mingle with the community.
