Orange County schedules a controlled burn

The controlled burn will happen today, Tuesday, Oct. 20.

Orange County Parks and Recreation announced that today there will be a scheduled controlled burn.

According to OCPR, county lands are managed as natural areas and periodic fires are needed to keep the systems in good condition.

The scheduled burn will occur at 8777 Winter Garden Vineland Road at the Tibet-Butler Preserve.
