Boyd Development, developers of the Hamlin community in Horizon West, announced several new projects Thursday, Sept. 9, during the West Orange Chamber of Commerce’s Horizon West Report luncheon.
During the presentation, held at the Rosen Event Center on the Rosen JCC Campus, Boyd Development partner Ken Kupp revealed several new incoming tenants to Hamlin, including a 6,000-square-foot Tiki Docks Bar and Grill seafood restaurant, a 59,000-square-foot Urban Air Adventure Park and a 13,000-square-foot Ace Hardware.
Kupp said Tiki Docks is a Polynesian-themed seafood restaurant that on Lack Hancock just south of Cinépolis. Currently, the Tampa Bay-based chain operates locations in Riverview and St. Petersburg.
Kid-friend and indoors, Urban Air Adventure Park will cater to thrill-seekers of all ages. The park will feature attractions such as a ropes course, rock-climbing walls, a warrior course, trampolines and more. It will be located south of the existing Publix on Hamlin Groves Trail.
Finally, Ace Hardware will be located east of the existing Action Gator Tire.
Kupp also announced several other tenants, including Auto Zone, Taco Bell, Hamlin Pediatric Dental, SportClips and Spectrum.
Other speakers at the event included Orange County School Board member Pam Gould, Orange County Property Appraiser Amy Mercado and Orange County Assistant Administrator Chris Testerman.
Orange County Commissioner Nicole Wilson was scheduled to speak but did not attend.
