OCPS to host virtual financial aid night

Parents are invited to learn about paying for a university or technical college.

Orange County Public Schools is inviting parents to attend its virtual financial aid night. 

The virtual financial aid night will be held at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Sept. 23. 

The event will be presented by Daniel Barkowitz, assistant vice president of financial aid and veterans' affairs at Valencia College. 

The event will discuss everything that parents need to know about paying for a university or technical college. 

Although the discussion is geared towards parents of juniors and seniors in high school, parents of younger students are also welcome to attend.
