TV host, decluttering expert and ambassador for Goodwill Matt Paxton recently visited the nonprofit's location in Winter Garden on Friday, April 8.

The international spokesperson for Goodwill aimed to encourage the community to put his latest book into practice.

“Keep the Memories, Lose the Stuff,” educates the community on how to downsize by organizing their keepsakes and encourages locals to donate unwanted items.

Attendees who arrived with donations at the Winter Garden store received a free copy of the book complete with Paxton's signature.

Paxton is best known for his role on the popular television shows “Hoarders” and “Legacy List with Matt Paxton.”

In addition, donors who visited any of Goodwill’s other Central Florida retail stores or Donation Xpress Centers on the same day received a special gift.
