Seasoned politicians and newcomers to the political arena gathered in Ocoee to share their campaign platforms at the West Orange Chamber of Commerce’s Hob Nob & Straw Poll, held Thursday, July 28, at Ocoee’s Lakeshore Center.
Candidates represented races for Orange County mayor, district commissioners and court judges and school board; and Florida’s Ninth Judicial Circuit Court, Senate and House of Representatives.
Attendees were able to vote in the straw poll, and the winners were announced at the end of the evening.
