The Wolverines mascot, Victor E., posed alongside the rest of the athletes for a big group photo opportunity.
The Windermere High School marching band performed several different tunes during the event, including the National Anthem.
Athletic Director Russell Williams addressed the audience before the teams were presented, thanking the families and friends of the Wolverines, as well as other school students, for showing their support.
The Windermere High School ROTC performed a presentation of colors ceremony during the performance of the National Anthem.
The first team to come out of the inflatable tunnel was the Windermere High School cheer team.
Weightlifting athlete, and two-time state champion, Andres Giron was recognized during the event for his latest achievements as part of the weightlifting team.
The 200 medley relay girls Brooke Larweth, Addison Reese, Maddie Reynolds and Peyton Powell were recognized for earning the first state championship title for the school’s swimming team, along with head swimming coach Kyle Goller.
The Windermere High School bowling team performed an energetic entrance.
The golf team displayed their uniform shirts as they walked out of the inflatable tunnel.
The girls volleyball team showed excitement and was happy to be recognized at the event.
The cross country team came out of the tunnel with big grins on their faces.
The Windermere High School football team ran out of the tunnel twice.
Head football coach Riki Smith waved and posed for pictures as he walked out of the tunnel alongside his athletes.
Windermere High School students showed their support to their student-athlete friends wearing school colors.
The Wolverettes cheer squad performed one of the routines during the event, as well as some flips and turns.
Windermere High School Principal Andrew Leftakis thanked the audience for their presence and for showing their support to the fall sports student-athletes with the help of the school's mascot, Victor E.
The dance team performed one of their choreographies at the end of the event.
Windermere High School hosted a sports pep rally for its fall sports athletes and coaches the night of Tuesday, Aug. 23.
The event featured live songs performed by the school’s marching band, a presentation of colors by the school’s ROTC, and an introduction for every team by Assistant Principal John Linehan.
Principal Andrew Leftakis addressed the audience after all teams were presented.
"At the end of the day, we want you to come out, we want you to support our kids and we want you to support all of our athletes and all of our performers," he said. "It's going to be a great year, thank you for being here."
To conclude the event, the cheer squad performed some tricks and turns as well as one of their routines, and the Wolverettes' dance team also performed one of their routines.
