Foundation's Garcia, Jean sign with colleges

Foundation Academy celebrated the signing of two of its football players on Wednesday with seniors Ian Garcia and Reggie Jean making their commitments official. 

Garcia signed with Mercer University in Georgia. He was a so-called "Swiss army knife" player in that he kicked, punted, as well as played safety and receiver for the Lions during his time with Foundation. He is also a member of the school's soccer team. 

Jean, a defensive lineman, signed with Northern Illinois University. He makes the third Foundation defensive lineman to receive a Division I scholarship, along with teammates Bryan Thomas Jr. and Donovan Branch, who both committed in December.
