Windermere High School to host Orange County meeting

The Transportation Open House meeting will provides residents with an opportunity to learn about the county's plan to improve transportation in the community.

Windermere High School will be hosting an upcoming Orange County meeting. 

The Transportation Open House aims to provide residents with the opportunity to learn more about Orange County's plan to improve transportation in the community. 

Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings and Orange County District 1 Commissioner Nicole Wilson will host the meeting. 

The open house will include a variety of informational booths regarding public transit, pedestrian and bicycle safety, street lights and technology, roadways and intersection improvements, and sustainability. 

The doors to the Windermere High School gymnasium will open for attendees at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28.

Free parking will be available at the school, which can be found at 5523 Winter Garden Vineland Road in Windermere.
