What better way to usher in the holiday season than celebrating with an overwhelming amount of holiday cheer?
The Baldwin Park community gathered from near and far for the Winter Wonderland Extravaganza Saturday, Dec. 4.
The family-friendly festival began with a holiday festival which featured children’s activities, live holiday performances, artists, vendors, food and more.
As 7 p.m. struck, the streets of Baldwin Park were closed-down and a lighted parade made its way down New Broad St. towards the lake.
Organizations in the parade included Dance 360 Orlando, Baldwin Park Realty, Edgez Dance, Baldwin Park Elementary and Central Florida Corgis.
“How great is it to see everyone out having fun and being safe?” Baldwin Park resident Kathy Deprenger said at the event. “I have never seen the event have as big of a turnout as this.”
Following the conclusion of the parade, the new holiday tree was lighted by Santa Clause himself.
“We love that our community comes together at the beginning of the holiday season and celebrates together,” Baldwin Park resident Natalisa Samaroo said. “It really is something special.”
