Winter Garden City Commission to meet tonight

The Winter Garden City Commission will hold its second regular meeting of 2022 at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, at the City Hall Commission Chambers, 300 W. Plant St.

Commissioners will discuss district boundaries, pensions and retirement for both general employees and firefighters and police officers, and the 2021-2022 fiscal budget.

The consent agenda includes conversation on an agreement between the City of Winter Garden and Orange County Board of County Commissioners for the annexation of a local enclave, a purchase order for fire equipment for a new Fire Apparatus for Fire Station 23, and a traffic enforcement agreement between Residences at Tucker Oaks and the City of Winter Garden.
