We are very excited to bring to you a new column that helps you plan your next day in #BeautifulBaldwinPark. Whether it’s date night, after school or Sunday Funday, we want to give you some inspiration on how to utilize all of the amazing places Baldwin Park has to offer.
To kick things off, let’s plan some after-school fun!
1. Pedego Bike Rental is now open and ready to get you and your family in gear! The business offers several electric bike options that will help you burn some energy without getting you too tired before dinner. It offers an array of rental and purchasing options, as well. More information can be found on its website, fareharbor.com, or by checking it out on social media at @pedegobaldwinpark!
2. Did you know Baldwin Park has a separate bike trail? Take the 7.5-mile Cady Way Trail through the Seminole County line at Howell Branch/Hall Road, over a bridge to Winter Park’s Cady Way Park. Along the trail, you will find shelters, benches and water fountains, making it the perfect post — school exercise trail for the whole family.
3. Dinner at Gator’s Dockside is always a great bet when it comes to feeding the whole family without breaking the bank. The restaurant offers an array of dishes for even your pickiest little eater, including burgers, tender pork tacos, extravagant salads, mini sliders and of, course, always accompanied by Gator’s famous fries. We recommend trying their elote corn dip. It’s got a little kick, comes with chips and house-made pork rinds, and also pairs perfectly with a pint. Are you hungry yet?
4. Frosty Fox is one of Baldwins newest businesses bringing the craze of boba tea to you! From boba tea, gelato, mocktails and egg puffle (Hong Kong-style egg waffles) Frosty Fox has all the tasty treats to reward your mini-me after a long day at school! We are currently obsessing over their matcha puffle covered in chocolate chips, chewy boba and, of course, topped with whipped cream. It even has convenient online pick-up ordering, so you can bop in, grab your treat and walk the lake. Who knew Baldwin Park could be this tasty?
