PremierMED Ophthalmology hosts ribbon cutting in Winter Garden

PremierMED Ophthalmology hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony in Winter Garden on Tuesday, June 21.

The event included the ribbon cutting, with the help of the West Orange Chamber of Commerce, and an open house with light food and drink.

The ophthalmology organization offers comprehensive medical eye care services, including eye diseases, vision and custom eye glasses.

Owner and Board Certified Ophthalmologist Dr. Michael Imler, who trained at the University of Florida, said he chose to open his practice in Winter Garden because of its beauty and civic involvement. He said the goal at his practice is to create a family friendly, warm, comfortable environment for the local residents' eye care needs.

The office is currently the only ophthalmology practice in Winter Garden, and the location is seeing patients for general eye exams, insurance required exams, and medically complicated exams as well as pediatric patients.

PremierMED Ophthalmology is located at 1291 Winter Garden-Vineland Road and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
