Orange Crate Cafe opens in previous Fat Mike's Hot Chicken location

The new business will offer southern comfort food and ice cream in downtown Winter Garden.

Orange Crate Cafe has officially replaced Fat Mike's Hot Chicken in downtown Winter Garden.

The former Fat Mike's Hot Chicken Facebook page, now Orange Crate Cafe's, announced the transition to new ownership on June 18.

Orange Crate Cafe will keep some of customer's favorite Fat Mike's dishes in addition to new southern comfort foods and ice cream.

The new menu includes items such as grilled pork chops, a blackened salmon wrap and buffalo shrimp.

Orange Crate Cafe is open from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 12-9 p.m. Saturday.

The cafe can be found at 360 W. Plant St. and reached at (407) 614-0499.
