Ocoee City Commission to discuss the Ocoee Landings mixed-use building amendment

The amendment will consist of adding a 3-floor, 51,680 square-feet and 46 apartment units building to the property.

The Ocoee City Commission will hold its next regular City Commission meeting at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday,  Nov. 4. 

The consent agenda includes the approval of reappointments — and a new appointment, to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, the approval to acquire a certain property for the City of Ocoee Taylor and Franklin Streets interception improvement project and the approval of an alternate site for the City to store debris that may result from hurricanes, tropical storms or other weather-related incidents. 

The commission will perform the first reading of ordinance for the Land Development Code amendment to allow Major Community Residential Home use in the agriculture zoning, and all residential zoning, districts. 

The commission also will perform the second reading of ordinance and public reading for the Ocoee Landings mixed-use building, item that has been carried over since the Oct. 18 meeting. 

There are no items in the consent agenda.

Citizens can attend in person at the Ocoee City Hall at 1 N. Bluford Ave., Ocoee.
