West Orange High School play to represent District 5 at state festival

The West Orange High School Theatre Department recently announced that its one-act play "Concord Floral" was selected to represent District 5 at the Florida Thespian State Festival, which will take place March 15 to 18 in Tampa.

According to the West Orange Theatre Department: "The show is beautiful yet tragic. Modern yet stylized."

A panel of judges provided the Warrior Thespians with the following recognitions: Best in Show One Act, Best in Show Technical Crew, Best Supporting Actress (Kallyn Maday), Outstanding Student Technician (Gavin Peterson), All Star Cast (Gretchen Olah), All Star Tech (Lucy DeFelice), Best in Show Publicity Design (Alex Battenfield), Top Honors Small Group Musical, Top Honors Publicity (Alex Battenfield), Superior One Act (Performance) and Superior One Act (Technical).
