Single-vehicle crash closes State Road 429 exit to Florida's Turnpike

A pickup left the roadway struck the guardrail and caught on fire.

A single-vehicle crash has closed the northbound State Road 429 off ramp onto Florida's Turnpike, Florida Highway Patrol reported at about 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.
According to reports, troopers are on scene of the crash, which happened at Mile Marker 21. A pickup left the roadway struck the guardrail and caught on fire. The only occupant died as a result of this crash, the report stated.
