The Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is hosting its Food for Thought tours in November.

The tours invite community members into the food bank's warehouse for an in-person, behind-the-scenes look at its facilities and efforts to help serve those in need.

Participants will have the opportunity to obtain an inside look at Second Harvest's active warehouse and distribution center, as well as see first-hand how the nonprofit distributes enough food for at least a quarter of a million meals a day.

The first Food for Thought tour will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the food bank, 411 Mercy Drive.

Free lunch will be offered to all tour participants.

Those who wish to register must do so by Wednesday, Oct. 26. To register, click here.

The second Food for Thought tour will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, also at the food bank.

A free snack box will be offered to all tour participants.

The deadline to register is Wednesday, Nov. 9.
