The Central Florida Expressway Authority has postponed the road work on the on and off ramps of State Road 429 at Stoneybrook Parkway. The ramps were to be closed for two weeks starting Monday, Sept. 12. A new start date has not been announced.

Instead of the ramp work, CFX plans to close westbound Stoneybrook West Parkway under the 429 from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. starting Monday, Sept. 12, and continuing through Sept. 24. Drivers going westbound on Stoneybrook West Parkway approaching S.R. 429 will need to U-turn onto the eastbound detour. This detour takes vehicular traffic to eastbound Stoneybrook West Parkway to northbound Windermere Road and left on Warrior Road. Traffic signs will lead motorists back to Reaves Road, or they can continue straight to Daniels Road.

This closure is to perform demolition and construction of the northern segment of the S.R. 429 bridge widening at Stoneybrook West Parkway North. The closure is due to bridge work and this ties into the continuous closure of eastbound Stoneybrook West Parkway currently in place.

The road closures are declared by the Central Florida Expressway Authority for the S.R. 429 Capacity Improvements from Tilden Road to S.R. 414 Project.
