The Central Florida Christian Academy football team displayed a strong offensive power after defeating Seffner Christian Academy 78-36 Friday, Sept. 23.
The Eagles set a fast-paced tone for the game right after kick off, scoring three touchdowns for a score of 21-0 at the end of the first quarter. During the second quarter, both teams were able to reach the end zones multiple times to bring up the score to a 42-22.
During the second half of the game, Seffner's offense was able to break through the Eagles' D-line barrier a few times, but not as many as they needed to take the lead before the end of the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, CFCA's offense took constant possession of the ball to secure a bigger lead over the Crusaders, bringing the score to a final 78-36.
The Eagles will host Foundation Academy at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30.
