Here is when Waste Management will resume trash collection

Orange County customers with Thursday or Friday trash days will have to wait a week for collection.

Resumption Service Schedule in Central Florida Post Hurricane Ian

September 30, 2022:

Waste Management is resuming collection schedules following Hurricane Ian in Central Florida as follows:

Orange County: There will be no residential collection services in Orange County and the town of Oakland Friday, Sept. 30, and Saturday, Oct. 1. WM will resume service on Monday, Oct. 3, and customers will be serviced on their regularly scheduled collection day. Commercial and industrial collection service will resume Friday, Sept. 30.

Seminole County: There will be no collection services in Seminole County Friday, Sept. 30, and Saturday, Oct. 1. WM will resume service on Monday, Oct. 3, and customers will be serviced on their regularly scheduled collection day.

Osceola County: Residential garbage and recycling collection will resume Friday, Sept. 30. To utilize all collection vehicles to recover outstanding garbage and recycling from Thursday, yard waste and bulk collection will be suspended through Saturday, Oct. 1. On Friday, Sept. 30, Thursday garbage and recycling customers should place their carts curbside for collection. On Saturday, Oct. 1, Friday scheduled garbage and recycle customers should place their carts curbside for collection.
