PHOTOS: Legacy High softball soars against CFCA

The Legacy High School varsity softball team conquered its third win of the 2022-23 season after defeated Central Florida Christian Academy 15-0 Thursday, March 30.

In a game that lasted only three innings, the Legacy Eagles took a wide lead early in the game, scoring six runs in the bottom of the first. Despite their defensive attempts to stop Legacy from scoring, CFCA wasn’t able to stop the Legacy Eagles as they reached the home plate eight times at the bottom of the second and one last time at the bottom of the third.

Legacy sophomore Addison Sims pitched the entire three innings, allowing no hits, no runs, walking one and striking out six.

Both teams are set to face each other against on opposite sides of the diamond at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at CFCA.
