Windermere Prep athletes qualify for boys weightlifting state championships

Lakers Chris Sprauten, Marc Qi and Dean Shuffield will compete at the boys weightlifting State Championship meet Saturday, April 15, at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland.

Three Windermere Prep weightlifters became the third, fourth and fifth athletes of the boys weightlifting team to qualify for the State Championship meet.

LIFTS:
DEAN SHUFFIELD
- Weight Class: 169 pounds
- Clean and Jerk: 225 pounds
- Snatch: 165 pounds

MARC QI
- Weight Class: 219 pounds
- Clean and Jerk: 225 pounds
- Bench Press: 315 pounds

CHRIS SPRAUTEN
- Weight Class: 238 pounds
- Clean and Jerk: 245 pounds
- Snatch: 170 pounds

Sprauten, Qi and Shuffield will compete Saturday, April 15, at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland.
