Ocoee business Jeff's Bagel Run has announced it will be opening a third location later this year.
Founded in August 2019, the eatery is known for its small batch, hand-crafted New York-style bagels made to order.
The family business is owned by Jeff and Danielle Perera.
Jeff's Bagel Run includes menu options such as a variety of bagel flavors and cream cheeses, coffees, and kombucha.
The first location opened in Ocoee in 2021, followed by a second location in the College Park area in 2022.
The newest store will open in O-Town West, a new mixed-use community in southwest Orlando.
Justin Wetherill, from Jeff’s Bagel Run, said O-Town West was the ideal spot for the next location.
"This new development will serve residents and visitors, giving us the opportunity to share our bagels with a new community," he said. "We are thankful to Chuck Whittal and the Unicorp team for allowing us to showcase our store of the future in their world class O-Town West development. We are excited to unveil our open-concept inviting guests to see our bagels come to life later this year!"
The 1,200-square-foor building will feature an open kitchen concept with bar seating so guests can watch the bagel making magic.
Customers will be able to watch the process of mixing, forming, boiling, topping and baking of the bagels. In addition, the new location will showcase cream cheese displayed in a gelato-style cabinet, as well as enhancements to the coffee menu.
In addition, 1337 Capital — which is run by Justin Wetherill, the co-founder of the uBreakiFix chain of mobile device repair shops — announced it has partnered with the owners of the eatery.
According to a news release from the company, the partnership includes plans to grow the small chain nationwide. The expansion will include four new Central Florida locations set to open sometime in 2023.
No additional opening dates or locations have been announced.
