Ocoee police searching for killer

The Ocoee Police Department is looking for the person responsible for the shooting death of a man at the Advenir at The Oaks apartment complex.

Police responded to a call regarding a shooting in the early-morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 6. When they arrived at the complex, they found a deceased adult male behind an apartment building near the back of the neighborhood. A dark vehicle was seen leaving the area with several occupants, police said.

Police have not released the deceased man’s name. This is an active and ongoing investigation by Ocoee police detectives. No arrests have been made at this time, police said.
