West Orange Foundation announces new funding opportunity

With a focus in food insecurity, the West Orange Foundation is excited to launch its 2023 grant application season.

The West Orange Foundation recently announced a new funding opportunity that will aim to ease food insecurity within the West Orange community. 

According to a press release, the 2023 grant program "is open to nonprofit organizations that specifically address food insecurity in the West Orange Community."

All funds awarded to nonprofit organizations must be used to benefit the communities of Dr. Phillips, Gotha, Horizon West, Lake Avalon, MetroWest, Oakland, Ocoee, Orlo Vista, Pine Hills, Windermere and Winter Garden. 

The foundation "prides itself on supporting nonprofit organizations and those in their workforce who truly make a difference in the lives of so may in the West Orange community." 

Applications must be submitted to West Orange Foundation, Inc., 12184 W. Colonial Dr., Winter Garden, by 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15.
