Women’s self-defense class offered

The Winter Garden Police Department will use S.A.F.E. techniques at the free event.

Females 13 and older are invited to participate in a self-defense class hosted by the Winter Garden Police Department. The free event takes place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24.

An officer certified in using S.A.F.E. self-defense techniques will instruct the class in the WGPD training room. To register, contact Officer Gail Michaud at (407) 656-3636, Ext. 4405, or [email protected].
