Publix now open in Waterleigh Village

The Publix Super Market at Waterleigh Village is now open. 

Publix opened its doors in Horizon West for the public to enjoy Thursday, Aug. 17, at 10650 Avalon Road, Winter Garden.

The first 1,000 customers at the grand opening event received a free reusable bag.

Publix, the largest and fastest-growing employee-owned supermarket chain in the United States, has more than 1,300 stores.

The Waterleigh location houses beer and wine options, deli grab-and-go items, a pharmacy with a drive-through, catering, curbside pickup, and Instacart. 

An additional special feature of the store is its upstairs cafe seating.

The Waterleigh location is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

The Publix Pharmacy is open from 9 a.m. to to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
