Windermere High girls volleyball claims win against TFA

The Lady Wolverines took a 3-1 win during their first game of the season against The First Academy Royals Monday, Aug. 21.

The Windermere High School girls varsity team earned the first win of their 2023-24 season after defeating The First Academy by a tally of 3-1 during a home, non-district, game Monday, Aug. 21.

The Lady Wolverines won the first set 25-15, lost the second set 20-25, and won the third and fourth sets 27-25 and 26-24, respectively.

Windermere now has a 1-0 overall season record prior to hosting Timber Creek at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, for a non-district game.

The First Academy has a 1-1 overall season record after defeating Edgewater 3-0 (25-17, 25-13 and 25-18) Tuesday, Aug. 22.
