D-BAT to open in Winter Garden

The baseball training facility will offer batting cages, developmental youth camps and private lessons, as well as the latest equipment and hottest apparel for purchase.

D-BAT is set to open in Winter Garden come January 2024.

The baseball training facility will offer batting cages, developmental youth camps and private lessons, as well as the latest equipment and hottest apparel for purchase.

The company was first founded by Cade and Kyle Griffis in 1998.

Starting with only three locations in the first year, the lucrative business model has quickly grown to now house over 135 locations, with 20 additional locations being built currently.

D-BAT's main goal is "to provide a quality teaching environment with professional instruction to enhance the baseball and softball experience for players at all levels and help them reach their goals," according to the organization's website.

The Winter Garden establishment, located at 14207 W. Colonial Drive, will open its cages at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8.

The facility will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and from noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
