The Foundation Academy is close to reaching its goal for ground breaking on the new cafeteria and worship center at its Tilden campus.

The school is only $360,000 away from its $2 million goal and is asking the community for its help in a final push.

The "Expansion: Set Apart Campaign" at the Tilden campus focuses on combating the school's challenge of rapid growth. In less than eight years the school has experienced over 100% growth.

The planned dual-purpose cafeteria and worship center on the Tilden campus will serve current and future students from the Plant and Lakeside locations, while also supporting the church and its growing multicultural community.

Phase One of the capital campaign is $12,500,000 and covers items such as the athletic complex field, scoreboard, bleachers, art studio, robotics room, and the cafeteria and worship center.

Currently, the school has raised $9,500,000 of the $12,500,000.

Liefke Meyers, vice president of development at Foundation Academy, said she is excited to be working together with families as the school grows its children in Christ, while also providing a high-quality educational experience.

"Thank you for your prayers, giving and volunteer support as we move ahead with our expansion plans to provide students with the resources they need as they grow into the Godly future leaders the world desperately needs right now," Meyers said.

Those who have questions regarding the campaign can contact Meyers at (407) 496- 3904 or at [email protected].
