CFCA basketball player reaches 1,000 career points during post season play

The Eagles' shooting guard and swingman Ty Gustafson was able to reach his 1,000 career point prior to the end of his last high school season.

During the Class 2A, District 7 regional semifinals Tuesday, Feb. 21, —the last game the Central Florida Christian Academy Eagles played this season after falling 74-72 to Victory Christian Academy, the Eagles' — shooting guard and swingman Ty Gustafson reached his 1,000 career point. 

This was Gustafson's last season in high school, as he is set to graduate at the end of this semester. 

Gustafson's averaged 10.8 points per game this season, a 44 field goal percentage, a 59 free throw percentage and a 31 3-point field goal percentage this season. Gustafson ended his season with a total of 259 points, nine blocks and 33 assists.
