WGPD accepting applications for Citizens Police Academy

Residents are invited to learn about the Winter Garden Police Department in its next Citizens Police Academy. Application deadline is July 21.

This free nine-week course takes place Wednesday evenings from Aug. 2 to Sept. 27. The classes are instructed by Winter Garden police officers and staff who discuss topics such as crime prevention, defensive tactics and investigations.
