The Stoneybrook West Golf Club has set a tentative opening date for the week of July 17.

The driving range and restaurant will both be available.

The club unexpectedly closed its doors in December 2018.

Now, the club will reopen with renovations including the update of the golf course, clubhouse, lounge and pro shop.

Rocky Hodge is the new man in charge of the club leasing the course from the Stoneybrook West Homeowners Association.

Hodge said they have touched every single wall in the building, as well as every floor and ceiling of the 145-acre property, plus the 10,000 square feet of the clubhouse.

The golf course renovation was easily the biggest project, Hodge said.

Those who wish to apply for restaurant or golf operation positions should drop off a resume at the clubhouse.

The club can be found at 15501 Towne Common Blvd., Winter Garden.
