Tribute band hosting free community concert in Hamlin

SWITCH, a 1980s tribute band, will perform on the green space in front of Cinepolis.

SWITCH, a 1980s tribute band, is hosting a free community concert in Hamlin this weekend. 

The band has performed at 1980s themed events and parties, as well as opened for 1980s band such as Tears For Fears, Loverboy, Rick Springfield, Night Ranger, The Romantics, Berlin and STYX.

Locals are invited to bring blankets and chairs, and dress in their favorite era attire.

The concert will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 15, on the green space outside Cinepolis in Hamlin, 14111 Shoreside Way.
