The Ocoee Police Department is searching for information regarding a stolen tree.

The Magnolia tree was taken from the city's Florida Friendly Demonstration Garden, which we told you about here.

"Perhaps someone misunderstood?" the Ocoee PD wrote in a social media post. "Our city's Florida Friendly Demonstration Garden is to promote #FloridaFriendlyLandscaping; not promoting free trees."

The garden is located next to the Ocoee Lakeshore Center at 125 N. Lakeshore Drive.

Those who have any information should contact the department at (407) 905-3160. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact Central Florida Crimeline at (800) 423-8477.
