Two Winter Garden businesses are sponsoring more homes to built by West Orange Habitat for Humanity. The houses will be constructed in east Winter Garden.

Two full-home sponsorships are being provided by brother-sister duo, owners of Pilars Martini, and long-time Habitat friends Charlie Roper and Becky Roper. A third full-home sponsorship is being provided by Miller’s Ale House, who has held a partnership with West Orange Habitat for several years.

West Orange Habitat, working in close cooperation with the city of Winter Garden, is addressing the need for affordable housing in the city’s eastside community. This partnership provides the opportunity for low-income families to purchase their first home.

Habitat oversees the construction of these single-family residences, using sustainable materials and environmentally friendly building and landscaping practices. In addition to existing partners and volunteers, West Orange Habitat seeks strategic relationships with other interested corporations, churches and community organizations to help expand its volunteer and material resources and further impact families.
