The Windermere High School boys varsity basketball team is one game away from becoming state champion after defeating Providence School 55-43 during the state semifinal game Wednesday, March 1.

The Lakers (24-7) are set to face Riviera Prep (28-3) during the state championship game at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 4, at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland.
