City of Ocoee Commission to discuss police officers and firefighters retirement trust fund

The city and the Florida Police Benevolent Association, Inc. have negotiated changes to pension benefits to be included in the Collective Bargain Agreement.

The Ocoee City Commission will hold its next regular City Commission meeting at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday,  March 7.

The consent agenda includes the approval of the large scale final plan for the Ocoee Crown Point PUD mixed-use development, the approval to assign the #23-003 asphalt paving projects for the Fiscal Year 2023 to Hubbard Construction Company and the approval to use Orange County's cooperative contract for Motor Fuel with Mansfield Oil Company of Gainsville, Inc.

The commission will perform the second reading of ordinance pertaining to the City of Ocoee municipal police officers and firefighters retirement trust fund. 

The item in the regular agenda pertains to the appointment of one member to the Planning and Zoning Commission to fill a currently vacant seat. 

Citizens can attend in person at the Ocoee City Hall at 1 N. Bluford Ave., Ocoee.
