A popular culinary staple in Gotha is celebrating a special anniversary.

Yellow Dog Eats is recognizing 25 years of business Friday, May 26.

The family-owned restaurant— located at 1236 Hempel Ave. in Gotha — first opened for business in 1998.

"Our home in beautiful downtown Gotha is in regional books about historic buildings and we aspire to a time when this great country was populated by stores that reflected the unique character of their many owners and provided a truly personal experience," Yellow Dog Eats' website reads.

The eatery's menu of sandwiches, salads, barbeque and daily specials has attracted locals and visitors alike to the area.

The restaurant also added on its New Smyrna Beach location in 2014.
