Raising Cane's has officially opened its first Orlando location.

The famous chicken fingers fast-food chain celebrated its grand opening Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 7105 Palm Parkway, in the new O-Town West development.

The new eatery serves chicken tenders, Texas toast, slaw, crinkle-cut fries and Cane's sauce through a drive-thru, as well as a large dining room, a covered patio and a second patio with umbrellas.

The new Raising Cane's will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Todd Graves, founder of the business, opened the first Raising Cane's location Aug. 28, 1996, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Since then, the eatery has expanded to offer more than 700 locations across the United States.

Two additional locations are planned to open in the future in the Central Florida area at 12040 Pioneers Way, Orlando, and 8170 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee.
