The City of Ocoee Fire Department responded to a fire rescue call at the Orlando Gun Club located on West Colonial Dr in Ocoee at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16.

According to sources, the people inside the building were able to escape the building through the roof and the building's sprinklers were able to put out the fire that was mainly contained to the back half of the building.

Initially, the fire department was assessing the possibility of the fire reaching the gun ammunition in the building, but that seems to no longer be a concern with the fire out.

This is an ongoing incident and this story will be updated. Check back here for updates.
