Ginger's Baking Co. will host a ribbon cutting event this weekend.

The ribbon cutting will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at 199 S. Main St., Winter Garden.

The event will include snacks, sweets, coffee and good company.

Ginger's, which we first told you about here, opened in September.

The bakery is known for its scratch-made, fresh-baked whoopie pies, cookies, custom cakes and more.

Ginger's is led by Mandy and John Gay, the masterminds behind the success of the business.
