Winter Garden wins best tasting drinking water contest

The city took first place in the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association's competition.

Winter Garden recently was awarded for having the best tasting drinking water.

The city took first place in the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association's competition.

As part of region three, Winter Garden competed against 14 other Central Florida municipalities and took home the gold after a blind taste test Sept. 27, at the FSAWWA annual luncheon.

The city will next move on to the state level of the competition.
