New Christian school coming to West Orange County

A new school coming to Winter Garden is a ministry of Faith Family Community Church and will be located on the church’s campus. Winter Garden Christian Academy will be opening in August 2024 and will start taking applications in January 2024.

“Extensive planning has been underway for the past 11 months,” senior pastor Melvin Adams said. “We are delighted at this time to announce our opening date.  We look forward to joining the other great Christian schools in this area to meet the growing needs of families in our community.”  

The school will open with classes for kindergarten through fifth grades and will offer a hybrid program of on-site and home education for sixth through 12th grades. The school will provide excellence and focused education with small classes of up to 16 students.

Monthly information meetings are being conducted for parents and other interested community members. Upcoming meetings are at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Oct. 19, Nov. 16 and Dec. 7 at Faith Family Community Church, 305 Beulah Road, Winter Garden.

The mission of the school is to partner with Christian families as they raise their children to encounter, grow and live out their Christian faith by providing a high-quality education encompassing a biblical worldview, authentic worship, student discipleship and real-world Christ-like application.
