EVOLUTION: MOTOWN
Evolution: Motown charts a course from the early days of Motown right up to today’s most celebrated purveyors of the unique sounds of soul. Fronted by four dynamic performers, the group delivers all the moves, precise vocal harmonies and the superior showmanship synonymous with the best groups of the classic era. ROPER FAMILY YMCA TRUNK OR TREAT
This event takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at the Roper Family YMCA, 100 Windermere Road, Winter Garden. Attendees can enjoy a fun night filled with decorated vehicles, prizes, food trucks and more. For more, click here.

Ocoee's Halloween Howl Night takes place Friday, Oct. 27.


HALLOWEEN HOWL NIGHT
Ocoee’s Halloween Howl Night is from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at the Jim Beech Recreation Center, 1820 A.D. Mims Road. The festivities, sponsored by the Parks & Recreation Department, include an inflatable corn maze, trunk-or-treating, a scare zone, glow hunt, pumpkin derby and axe throwing. There will be contests for costumes, pumpkin carving and doughnut-eating.

Horizon High School Theatre will perform ‘SIX: Teen Edition” at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, and Saturday, Oct. 28; and at 2 p.m. Oct. 28. Tickets can be purchased here.

The Killer Carnival is a new Halloween experience in Winter Garden.

THE KILLER CARNIVAL
This weekend’s 45-minute Killer Carnival show, hosted in Winter Garden by theme park professionals, offers a horror sideshow, scares, stage illusions and magic, and a suspenseful escape. Shows are at 8, 9 and 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, and Saturday, Oct. 28, at Makers Hollow, 50 Brayton Road, Winter Garden Tickets are $24.99 and available at killercarnival.com.

WINTER GARDEN FARMERS MARKET HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION
Enjoy a spooky morning at the Winter Garden Farmers Market Halloween Celebration, which takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; event activities, 9 a.m. to noon at Winter Garden Downtown Pavilion, Plant Street. Free. Call\ (407) 656-4111.

WINDERMERE HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARADE AND HAYRIDE
Windermere’s annual costume parade and hayride begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. The Parks & Recreation event will kick off at Windermere Town Hall, 520 Main St. The morning also includes bounce houses and trick-or-treating with businesses along Main Street.

YOUNG INNOVATORS ACADEMY’S TRUNK OR TREAT AND FALL FESTIVAL
Young Innovators Academy’s Trunk or Treat and Fall Festival takes place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 28, at Young Innovators Academy, 1297 Winter Garden Vineland Road, Winter Garden. Celebrate with us the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the new outdoor classroom. A place that offers children the opportunity to engage all their senses to explore nature, delight in the small things enlarged by a microscope, use binoculars to view birds, find the joy in gardening and build a fort with sticks. HORIZON WEST CAR FEST
The Horizon West Car Fest returns from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, to the parking garage in the Hamlin Town Center, 16016 New Independence Parkway, Winter Garden. The event is sponsored by JSI European Specialist and State Farm – Bryan Fifer Insurance. The free family-friendly show includes a plethora of vehicles and a Frunk or Treat event. Families are welcome to show up in costume.

OAKLAND HAUNTED TRAIL
If you dare to be scared, visit the Haunted Trail from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. It is set up at 330 N. Tubb St., across from Speer Park in Oakland. This haunted trail is an annual event for the Milliken family.

SUNDAY, OCT. 29
LIFT DISABILITY NETWORK’S MONSTER MASH DANCE
Lift Disability Network is hosting its Monster Mash Dance Sunday, Oct. 29. From 6 to 8 p.m., individuals and families are invited to join in for a campfire story experience at the Jessie Brock Community Center, 310 N. Dillard St., Winter Garden.
