TFA girls golf team starts season with a win

The Lady Royals defeated the Lady Hornets 149-176 Thursday, Aug. 31, at the Orange Tree Golf Course.

The First Academy girls varsity golf team brought home their first win of the season during their season-opener tourney against Bishop Moore Thursday, Aug. 31.

Junior Katie Yang had the least amount of points of the tournament with 35, sophomore Angela Wang had 37 points, junior Sophia Hong had 38 points, sixth grader Chloe Wang had 39 points and seventh grader Harper Havron had 53 points.

TFA will play its next tournament against Trinity Prep Thursday, Sept. 7 at Legacy Golf Club.
