Ocoee High celebrating Homecoming with parade

This is Homecoming Week for the Knights at Ocoee High School, and the students will be celebrating with a parade through downtown Ocoee starting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6.

The public is invited to cheer on the Knights as they travel the parade route. Among the participants are the Student Government Association, football players, cheerleaders, Homecoming court, Mr. and Miss Ocoee and the marching band.

During the parade, parts of the following streets will be closed: Bluford Avenue, North Cumberland Avenue, McKey Street, West Oakland Avenue, North Lakewood Avenue and North Lakeshore Drive.

Drivers should anticipate delays and use alternate travel routes during these times.
