Crime scene investigator Alina Burroughs returned to her hometown of Winter Garden to re-investigate a furniture store murder that claimed four lives on Christmas Eve 1975. Her findings will be discussed at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, on the show “Crime Scene Confidential.” The episode, titled “Four Murders and One Death Sentence,” will air on the Investigation Discovery channel.

Applying new technology to old clues, Burroughs tries to piece together a puzzle still fraught with mystery. Tommy Zeigler is the longest serving death row inmate in Florida and has been in prison for nearly 48 years for the murders of his wife, his mother- and father-in-law, and a customer that took place at his family furniture store.

The television show follows Burroughs as she researches and follows the evidence of controversial murder cases. She is a former CSI with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
